A Conversation Starter?Hi Everyone!<br />
<br />
I believe there is nothing better than the details in life. The party that has everything prepared and ready so the hostess can be with her guests instead of in the kitchen for example. Or the little details spread throughout the house to tie the whole design together. A perfect party wouldn't be complete with out some great dinnerware! In my last <a href="http://weekendprojectgirl.blogspot.com/2011/11/interior-design-little-soul.html">post</a> there was some interest in the whimsical tea set I photographed, so I decided to pull together a few favorites and just plain interesting pieces that will make a statement for any dinner party! <br />

After living there for 2 years and visiting my whole life it is a great place for me to get away or mix up it up. <br />
<br />
Anyway... I have always wanted to stay at this great boutique hotel in South Austin, <a href="http://www.hotelstcecilia.com/">The Saint Cecilia</a>. However, because it is a small hotel and I rarely plan ahead, it is almost always booked. But this time I got in and we were lucky enough to stay in one of the bungalows which are very private, surrounded by trees and the main house is a historic landmark! This pet friendly hotel literally has soul built in and interesting quirks around each corner. The owner <a href="http://www.bunkhousemgmt.com/">Liz Lambert </a>did a fantastic job and it has set the bar high for any other hotel. Every little detail was thought out and I didn't want to leave... there was even a record player in our room - it was fun! <br />
<br />
Plus, if you are traveling with dogs it is a great place to stay. Not only did they offer us dog bowls and beds for our pups but there was a little park right across the street! The hospitality was really wonderful and I won't ever forget it.<br />
<br />
Here are some pics for you guys! <br />

I love them because they are so unique! Plus, the idea of different levels in a house excites me. The way Isay Weinfeld, the architect for this Brazilian beauty, incorporated the book shelves in this room was very cool. </div><br />

To be honest I'm kind of sick of them. I've decided to take matters into my own hands and recreate some of their looks. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OzPJKMV8BCg/Tq8BR7XcYRI/AAAAAAAAAKY/5yC1-xFE_mk/s1600/WPG+-+DIY+Restoration+Dressers+.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OzPJKMV8BCg/Tq8BR7XcYRI/AAAAAAAAAKY/5yC1-xFE_mk/s640/WPG+-+DIY+Restoration+Dressers+.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />

<i>Time: 4 hours </i><br />

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MuZE_UBvbhk/Tq7wY1Q1mDI/AAAAAAAAAI4/YdExAXvpNwM/s1600/DSC_1106_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MuZE_UBvbhk/Tq7wY1Q1mDI/AAAAAAAAAI4/YdExAXvpNwM/s320/DSC_1106_2.JPG" width="320" /></a>Tools you may need: <br />
Hammer<br />
Screw driver<br />
Phillips head screw driver<br />
Wood Glue <br />
Electric sander<br />
Sand paper (in 220, 100 & 80 grit)<br />
Damp old towel<br />
Blower or vacuum<br />
Mod Podge<br />
Newspapers<br />
Ralph Lauren (or another brand) acrylic metallic paint<br />
Foam brushes (disposable)<br />
New knobs<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Start</span>: </b>Find some old dressers for a great price - that are in pretty good condition! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LUBjxGBASek/Tq7wSMitugI/AAAAAAAAAIw/QqustEostl8/s1600/DSC_1095.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="329" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LUBjxGBASek/Tq7wSMitugI/AAAAAAAAAIw/QqustEostl8/s640/DSC_1095.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Prep Work: </b></span><br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_JeCIhELEVE/Tq7xmu_aqbI/AAAAAAAAAJI/167tY8uRmNw/s1600/DSC_1101.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_JeCIhELEVE/Tq7xmu_aqbI/AAAAAAAAAJI/167tY8uRmNw/s320/DSC_1101.jpg" width="211" /></a><br />
1. Start by taking off the old hardware<br />
2. Sand the old finish off. For the new paint to stick, it can't be shiny. Any small areas, fold use the sand paper. If it is looking real scratchy then you need to use a lighter sand paper grit. The lower the number the more coarse, so use a higher number if it is scratching. Click <a href="http://woodzone.com/Merchant2/articles/sandpaper/index.htm">here</a> to answer any sanding questions you might have! <br />
3. Get out the blower! I loved using the blower to clean our all of the drawers and get rid of the old spider webs and any bugs that might be in the dressers! Plus it got rid of the sanding residue... :)<br />
4. Wipe down the entire dresser with a damp cloth to get the rest of the "sand" off. <br />
<br />
This is also the time to make any repairs - for example I had to reattach the backing in some areas on one dresser. I also repaired two of the legs with new screws and some wood glue (tie the area tight with string & let it dry for a while). <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Why not Paper Mache...</b></span> <br />
<br />
I decided to Paper Mache the dressers so they would look more like "metal" after the paint... This was also my first time to Paper Mache - I loved it by the way!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y9iumw4g7W0/Tq7zVsVFBOI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/uiCAfM0HM_Y/s1600/DSC_1108.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y9iumw4g7W0/Tq7zVsVFBOI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/uiCAfM0HM_Y/s320/DSC_1108.JPG" width="320" /></a>1. Cut strips of newspaper or any other paper you want to use<br />
2. Apply the Mod Podge to the area you are going to apply the paper (one section at a time)<br />
3. Place the paper over the "glue" and then spread more Mod Podge over the paper and smooth out the air bubbles. <br />
4. Continue this over the entire dresser. <br />
<br />
<i>This was the result - which looks really cool! You leave it like this! But just apply an acrylic sealer over the paper so it will last! </i><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IuY9AOImMiI/Tq7zrL0ZUbI/AAAAAAAAAJY/t8ce_V50X0w/s1600/DSC_1116_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IuY9AOImMiI/Tq7zrL0ZUbI/AAAAAAAAAJY/t8ce_V50X0w/s640/DSC_1116_2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> <b> </b><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dDWqExRO290/Tq70FQrNunI/AAAAAAAAAJg/zpbawI2gdVw/s1600/DSC_1120_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dDWqExRO290/Tq70FQrNunI/AAAAAAAAAJg/zpbawI2gdVw/s640/DSC_1120_2.jpg" width="424" /></a></div><br />
<b> </b><span style="font-size: large;"><b> </b></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Time to Paint! </b></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qV54-Wil3QU/Tq71YLFCszI/AAAAAAAAAJo/lj2DMg9aip0/s1600/DSC_1123.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qV54-Wil3QU/Tq71YLFCszI/AAAAAAAAAJo/lj2DMg9aip0/s320/DSC_1123.JPG" width="320" /></a>1. Get your painting supplies out! I used Ralph Lauren's Metallic Paint in RL - 03<br />
2. I like the black sponge brushes because they are easy to use & give a pretty good finished look. <br />
3. Apply 2-3 coats until you cannot see the wood or in this case the paper through the paint. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>And here it is... The Duck Tape Dresser! </i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>I think it could have been cool if I had done larger pieces of paper and smoothed the wrinkles better. </i></div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-x_5gZMVFq-Y/Tq71ZZ50ZcI/AAAAAAAAAJw/l5KwadkvYvU/s1600/DSC_1124.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-x_5gZMVFq-Y/Tq71ZZ50ZcI/AAAAAAAAAJw/l5KwadkvYvU/s640/DSC_1124.JPG" width="584" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>The Pretty One: </b></span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><i>So........ I tried it out with just paint on the other dresser. </i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>It looked MUCH better! :) Now I just have to add the knobs... and re-do the duck-tape dresser! </i></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bWlJ_XCBNiY/Tq71x86TaKI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/VIqZkIGnkr0/s1600/DSC_1134.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="570" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bWlJ_XCBNiY/Tq71x86TaKI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/VIqZkIGnkr0/s640/DSC_1134.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
In the end, I decided a paper mache dresser looks cool but just not with the paint over it (or at least not the way I did it). I definitely think this replaced the Resoration Hardware nightstands because I made them myself, saved a ton of money and they will still give the same look to any room! <br />
<br />
Let me know your thoughts? Which one do you like... be honest? <br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><i><b><br />

Let's face it... I'm one of them! Emeralds, a silk dress and green leather - need I say more?!!! This library is one of my favorite rooms of all time! <br />
<br />
Everyone needs a little green in their life! Use something bold like this amazing <a href="http://www.therugcompany.info/designer-collection/diane-von-furstenberg/climbing-leopard.htm">Diane Von Furstenburg</a> rug or for the more neutral at heart use a small patterened pillow or just some flowers! <br />
<br />
Have a good one!<br />

<br />
So I've been having a little trouble finding the pieces of furniture I need to complete the upcoming wp's! I don't want to keep you out of the loop so I want to show you my plans for the room! Here is my inspiration board!<br />
<br />
I have loved this trellis pattern by Kelly Wearstler for SO long but it is like $120/yard so there's no way I"m getting it! But if everything goes as planned in my DIY project (fingers crossed) I will have this pattern in my bedroom soon enough! More to come on how I recreate pieces for this space... <br />

<br />
I have been waiting 2 years to take this class and finally got in! It is held twice a year at the <a href="http://www.printingmuseum.org/">Museum of Printing History</a> and a family wedding usually fell on the day of the class! But I finally made it! We learned traditional letterpress practice with typesetting, lead letters, proofing and then printing on a Kelsey table top. It was a ton of fun and I learned something invaluable. Letterpress is a true art form and I feel lucky to know how to do it.<br />

Yes it's true... I've switched around a little from green to gray to salmon but I <i>always</i> come back to my one and only! Blue really does have the best range of colors in the spectrum. Red can lean from pink to orange... ugh. And green is beautiful until it starts looking yellow or even brown! Blue is perfect in all forms that's why it is obviously the accent color of choice for my entire house, for the most part! Here are some of my favs!<br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><i>Wrap the gift using double-sided tape. Cut a one inch wide piece from the card stock sheet. Cut as many pieces as necessary for the desired length and tape together. Use tape to keep in place on box. I scored the edges before taping each side to have a cleaner look. Then add the string. Wrap around the box, lay on top of the card stock. Tie in a double knot and trim. (Actually kind of tough to do...) Heat that glue gun! Mark the destinations for the buttons, adhere to the string on top of the card stock. Finished! </i></div><i> </i><br />

Plus it's not something you hear about everyday! I've recently started exploring the world of juicing and am a huge fan of the <a href="http://blueprintcleanse.com/">Blueprint Cleanse </a>from NY. However, it can be pretty pricey so I've decided to take matters into my own hands... of course!<br />
<br />
I recently purchased their "cook" <a href="http://blueprintcleanse.com/the-three-day-cleanse-book.html">book </a>and I'm excited to say today was my first time to try it! <br />

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />
2 teaspoons agave nectar <i>(doesn't create a spike in blood sugar levels like honey)</i><br />
A few dashes of cinnamon* <i>(helps regulate blood sugar levels) </i><br />
pinch of sea salt<i> (gives you energy) </i><br />
<br />
Soak the raw cashews for 1 hour in 1 cup of water (this is different than the 2 cups of filtered water)<br />
<br />
Drain the nuts. Combine all ingredients and blend until completely smooth. (I used a food processor, but I'm not sure if its necessary). Store in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before drinking. natural separation will occur.<br />
<br />
*Cinnamon is in one of their other cashew milk recipes. I added it to this because it adds good flavor. I was like "hmm... melting wax, pouring it over a canvas? Sounds perfect!" This was my first attempt and it won't be my last! I like this process and the outcome creates exactly what I"m looking for right now! What do you think? Ever worked with wax before? <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Tape.</div><div style="text-align: center;"> So the wax will dry within the edges </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dzbr4xattVE/ToPyGz8wcII/AAAAAAAAAGM/81p8Rs1HV6E/s1600/DSC_1097.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dzbr4xattVE/ToPyGz8wcII/AAAAAAAAAGM/81p8Rs1HV6E/s400/DSC_1097.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Melt. </div><div style="text-align: center;">I recommend a salon style wax melting pot</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Wa3-TBTBif8/ToPyFIUeXVI/AAAAAAAAAGI/4ap47lcgNPw/s1600/DSC_1095.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="252" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Wa3-TBTBif8/ToPyFIUeXVI/AAAAAAAAAGI/4ap47lcgNPw/s400/DSC_1095.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"> Pour! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aaypTe4DZZU/ToPyIX5EsFI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/ICYhsrSP3KA/s1600/DSC_1107.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aaypTe4DZZU/ToPyIX5EsFI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/ICYhsrSP3KA/s400/DSC_1107.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Dry! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DAUtADPYHsE/ToPyKTjnmwI/AAAAAAAAAGU/LmAUnWv1rWs/s1600/DSC_1110.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DAUtADPYHsE/ToPyKTjnmwI/AAAAAAAAAGU/LmAUnWv1rWs/s640/DSC_1110.jpg" width="424" /></a></div><br />
So it was supposed to go over the edges... guess I didn't have enough wax? Plus, it dried SO fast! That's ok, I kind of like the way it dried! I'm still experimenting with this material... more wax projects to come! <br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by!<br />

I wonder what kind of craft recipes Martha Stewart came up with for this book! This is super exciting (much more than I would have expected!) and I think I need to try out some of these projects!<br />
<br />
I'll keep you updated!<br />

Over the weekend, the Spring veggies were replaced with some really beautiful lettuces, kale, tomatoes, and jalapeno plants! We also added some pretty marigolds to keep the bugs away from the veggies! Plus, when the bulbs fall off you can break up the seeds and replant them! It was fun work cleaning up the garden and getting rid of all the weeds... <br />
<br />
Sorry there aren't any horribly over-grown garden pics for you! I won't forget next time! But here is a post weeds, pre-new plants photo. :)<br />

Happy Gardening!<br />

I decided, of course, to do it myself instead! This has been a fun project!<br />
<br />
<i>The supplies: </i><br />
<i>Plywood </i><br />
<i>Poly Batting (I layered it 3x)</i><br />
<i>Fabric of choice </i><br />
<i>Staple Gun (heavy duty) </i><br />
<i>Extra Staples </i><br />
<i>Nail heads </i><br />
<i>Nail Head hammer (or regular if you want)</i><br />
<i>Fabric Disappearing Ink Pen (or white chalk/wax pen) </i><br />
<i> Tape Measure of choice </i> <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-q2dxXZJv8bU/Tn_nWp9mxII/AAAAAAAAAFg/v730ff6bq-k/s1600/DSC_1137.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-q2dxXZJv8bU/Tn_nWp9mxII/AAAAAAAAAFg/v730ff6bq-k/s400/DSC_1137.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G2h4H1LzhBQ/Tn_nY867N9I/AAAAAAAAAFk/3gGtLx43-l0/s1600/DSC_1148.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G2h4H1LzhBQ/Tn_nY867N9I/AAAAAAAAAFk/3gGtLx43-l0/s400/DSC_1148.jpg" width="265" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5DW91-NbtSA/Tn_nbNQfSgI/AAAAAAAAAFo/g_XxRA1zvc8/s1600/DSC_1150_2_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5DW91-NbtSA/Tn_nbNQfSgI/AAAAAAAAAFo/g_XxRA1zvc8/s400/DSC_1150_2_2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
AND THEN...<br />
<br />
I ran out of nail heads! I will have to finish up tomorrow and show the final product then! Stay Tuned. <br />

On a serious note, this floor is <u>incredible</u>! You could install this floor in an entryway, bathroom or a playroom and cover with a durable high gloss epoxy! I'm getting really excited here! <br />

</div>Here it is - my own paper project. I loved the hyperfocus and OCD-ness that was necessary to complete this project! While I cannot take credit for the entire design, the technical ability to complete something like this was all me! The inspiration came from <a href="http://madebyjulene.com/typography">Julene</a>, who does an amazing job illustrating and gave me a great idea for a 4 year anniversary present. The quote is by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Buffett">Warren Buffett</a> who is my my boyfriend's "investing" idol. I like this quote because it means two completely different things and is important to both of us. <br />

Brown Convention Center hosted the <a href="http://www.houstonfineartfair.com/index">Houston Fine Art Fair</a> over the weekend. It was really fun and featured galleries from the United States, Latin America, and Europe. What a treat to see the works of such famous artists like Warhol and Rauschenberg (especially Rauschenberg) :). However, nothing captured my attention like <a href="http://www.thatcherprojects.com/">Margaret Thatcher Projects Gallery</a>, who featured an eye catching contemporary "paper" artist. <br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><i>I'm apologizing in advance for all of my posts about paper lately, but I can not seem to escape it! </i></span><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.thatcherprojects.com/exhibition_01.cfm?exh=795">Adam Fowler, </a>quickly sketches his loop designs in graphite or charcoal and then the slow and steady work begins. For weeks at a time he meticulously cuts his woven lace-like design with an exacto. In the end it is a thin and delicately crafted web. The numerous designs are layered to create one piece with a lot depth. Some of his works layer as many as <b>50 sheets</b>!<br />
<br />
It was a pleasure talking with the gallery about his process and the work itself.<br />
<br />
When my boyfriend and I literally had a physical reaction to his art, we knew it was the best we were going to see at the fair. We kind of just quickly walked through the rest of the fair but were really only thinking about getting back over to look at Adam Fowler's work again! Haha!<br />

I was going to get him a photograph from a fine art gallery in town... but it's way out of budget so I decided against it. I'm usually one to splurge on gifts but this one was a little out of reach! I narrowed it down to these 3 beaut's! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-d37w3dGGfMQ/TnISG10aKmI/AAAAAAAAAD0/VmBQ_78qqJk/s1600/Mitch_Dobrowner_Arcus_Cloud.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-d37w3dGGfMQ/TnISG10aKmI/AAAAAAAAAD0/VmBQ_78qqJk/s400/Mitch_Dobrowner_Arcus_Cloud.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-F4vDCXcdMTc/TnISHAYNLbI/AAAAAAAAAD4/oyfZ_CSDxT0/s1600/Mitch_Dobrowner_Road.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-F4vDCXcdMTc/TnISHAYNLbI/AAAAAAAAAD4/oyfZ_CSDxT0/s400/Mitch_Dobrowner_Road.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><a href="http://www.johnclearygallery.com/Mitch_Dobrowner_New_Work.php">Mitch Dobrowner </a>is represented at John Cleary Gallery.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div>Since those amazing images are out of the question, I've decided on a DIY project, of course! You know I love paper - well this project is a blister causing, almost slice your finger off every minute, kind of project! Can't wait to share it with you guys! Hopefully, with all 10 digits fully in tact... :)<br />

Nothing too serious, just outlets and switches.<br />

Change out your home hardware for one of the easiest ways to create a new feel in a room! I think it's easier than painting. Forget all of that taping and prep work... all you need is a screwdriver! <br />

Here are some images of my favorites to get you thinking toward a change in your home decor. <br />
